DIENES oral presentation: Research 4.0: A Modular Approach to Boost the Development of Innovative Biobased Fibres.
It has been a pleasure to attend the 38th International Conference of the POLYMER PROCESSING SOCIETY in Sankt Gallen. Big thanks to this year’s hosts Empa for the perfect organization of the event. A growing demand for garment and technical textile fibres demands a more proactive approach which includes implementing frameworks and technologies for #recycling and a broad use of biobased materials as an alternative to conventional polymers. We had the chance to present our research 4.0 approach for supporting teams working on the development of such innovative yarns.
