DIENES has received the first order for a single head nanofiber spinning unit. With this installation an average fiber diameter below 100 nm can be achieved with constant fiber properties. Through the use of centrifuge technology the throughput is by a multiple higher than by comparable systems.
The unit will be delivered to a German research institute and is intended for the process of bio-polymers. Prior to the installation at the client’s site an in-house start-up will be carried through commencing from first week of September 2014. For interested customers a demonstration of the unit will be possible at DIENES until middle of September 2014.
